I thought I saw a popular AK-technique teacher there, but I'm not sure. Regardless, it's times like these that I wonder if they aren't full of shit and trying to make a buck off of stupid Americans.

it looks like there's a number of original offshoots (>3?) of the concept known as systema. from what I've see on the msgboards, people think the fat guy is a joke - Vladimir Vasiliev is the real deal (he can execute, but can his students?) and this dude is supposed to be real too.

I've got a feeling that it's guys who trained allot in various systems (hell, their movements look like amalgamations of various eastern/western systems) and did their own thing kinda like jun fan or wtf ever bruce lee did. and some of that crap might just be done to look nice on camera.; 12:49 AM
